Full-service marketing agency Didit announced today that it purchased a premier digital print and mail shop in the tri-state area, Laser Image Corporation, in the agency’s dedicated effort to become an industry driving force in the region. With headquarters in Mineola, Long Island, offices in Manhattan and Waltham, Massachusetts, and a direct mail facility in Plainview, Didit provides an extensive range of marketing, public relations and digital services to more than 200 clients across all verticals.
The newly-acquired company, Laser Image Corp., is located at 1 Fairchild Court in Plainview, approximately one mile from Didit’s Plainview facility. In 2015, Didit moved its direct marketing headquarters at 30 Commercial Court in Plainview to a significantly larger space in the same town at 15 East Bethpage Road. There, Didit has built a partnership with Cherry Lane Printing, one of only two printing facilities on Long Island offering Web Press capability. The combined forces of Didit and Cherry Lane, and now Laser Image Corp., will create Long Island’s largest and most comprehensive direct marketing service, according to Dave Pasternack, president and chief executive officer of Didit.
The direct mail entities will work together to offer clients a broader suite of services. While there are future plans to fold Laser Image Corp. within the Didit brand and move its location to the main Didit facility, the timeline has not been determined as of yet.
“Laser Image Corporation was a natural fit for us, expanding both our service offerings and client base in the DM market, ” said Mr. Pasternack. “By utilizing each entity’s capabilities, expertise and talent, we will be able to take on any type of direct marketing campaign that comes our way. This acquisition combined with Didit’s expertise in digital marketing, will transform what has been traditionally considered a ‘yesterday’s technology’ business into a cutting-edge, direct marketing factory that will ‘push the envelope’ on speed, capability and effectiveness.”
Laser Image Corp. services domestic and worldwide mailings for business-to-business and consumer entities as well as non-profit organizations. “The timing was right for the sale of my company, ” commented Mike Regan, owner of Laser Image Corp. “With Didit’s track record of a commitment to service excellence, it was the best avenue to take for the future of my clients and employees. We are very pleased with this decision.”
